The Electric Network Rehabilitation Program is a continuation of the Project with the same name, in which 45 circuits where rehabilitated throughout the electrical distribution companies accredited areas, with support of the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank, and the OPEC Fund for International Development.
The Electric Distribution Rehabilitation Project worked three key elements:
- The rehabilitation of the distribution network in selected geographical areas.
- Social programs with the consumer communities to legitimate the work done in losses reduction.
- The administration, monitoring and evaluation of the project’s execution.
This Project improved the lives of around 210,000 households on a national level.
